If you have ever been on the search for a wedding dress you are bound to have come across the words TRUNK SHOW. But what exactly is that?
The purpose of a trunk show is to showcase a larger selection of gowns from a certain designer. This gives our brides a chance to sample gowns that might not always be in store and that have not hit any other store yet on occasions either!
Bridal boutiques carry a smaller selection of gowns from each designer they carry in store. During a trunk show the designer will send all dresses in the collection and at the end of the trunk show we must send back the gowns that we do not own and keep in store.
Since trunks show only last 3-7 days usually it is always important to book your appointment during these times if your are interested in a collection or designer!
